Betty Jane Estes

Mrs. Betty Jane Estes, age 87 of the Miller Valley community, passed away on Tuesday morning March 31^st at her home of natural causes.

She was born September 22, 1927 in Richmond, Kentucky the daughter of the late Tommy and Ester White Rollins.  She was a member of the Greenridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Bass Estes (2004); one son Gary Estes (2009); two daughters Marilyn Estes (1950) and Pam Ford (2013) and one sister Jeanette Powers.  She is survived by one sister Nell Prewitt of Cadiz and also two grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation with the Estes family will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Joe Vaught officiating.  Interment will follow at the Glenwood cemetery.
