Dorothy Harris

Mrs. Dorothy Harris, age 81 of Guthrie, passed away Saturday July 18th at the Grace Health Care Center in Clarksville of natural causes.

She was born July 10, 1934 in Guthrie, KY daughter of the late Henry and Vinnie Ayers Thompson.  She was a member of the Tiny Town Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker, loved her family and enjoyed reading, yard work and watching movies.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Joe Harris.  She is survived by one son Joey Harris of Greenbrier, Tennessee; one daughter Darlene Harris Campbell of Allensville; six grandchildren Chris, Jeremy and Ben Campbell, Coty, Dusty and Michaela Harris, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Harris family will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in the chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Lonnie Penrod officiating.  Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
