Mr. Frank M. Cox, age 89 of Trenton, passed away on Friday morning, February 3, 2017 at the Signature Health Care in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.
He was born February 24, 1927 in Pembroke, Kentucky the son of the late William Edgar and Grace Gilliam Cox. He was a lifetime member of the Trenton Presbyterian Church where he served as deacon as well as other offices in the church and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a Veteran with the United States Airforce and was owner of the Todd County Seed Company for 25 years. He loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers Henry and Edward Cox and two sisters Grace Cox and Anna Craig. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Ann Cox of Trenton; one son Donald Wayne Cox of Trenton; one daughter Joan Cox Smith (Dwight) of Knoxville, Tennessee; three sisters Earline Junker of Clarksville, Martha Bailey of Colorado and Pauline Greer of Washington State; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Cox family will be on Tuesday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 at the Trenton Presbyterian Church in Trenton with Rev. Mike Bourland officiating. Interment will follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.
