Joe Allen Miller

Mr. Joe Miller, age 59 of the Stringtown Community, passed away on Saturday afternoon at 2:11 December 27^th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Joe was born on June 17, 1955 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of Herbert and Virginia Rager Miller.  He was a member of Cliff Hill Baptist Church and owner of the Fix-It Welding in Elkton.  He loved his horses and dirt racing.

He was preceded in death by his father as well as his wife Darlene Miller; one brother Hugh Russell Miller and one sister Pam Butkovich.  He is survived by his mother Virginia Lear of Elkton; two sons Joe Miller Jr. and Clayton Miller both of Elkton; one daughter Angie Slaughter of the Stringtown Community; one brother Mike Miller of Elkton and six grandchildren.

Visitation with the Miller family will be on Monday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Chapman and Rev. Clarence White officiating.  Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton.
