Joyce Keaton

Mrs. Joyce Keaton, age 76 of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 14, 2017 at her residence of natural causes.

She was born September 4, 1940 in Elkton, Kentucky the daughter of the late Homer Ewing and Vivian Beatrice Wilkins Mallory.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.  She loved her family, fishing, UK Basketball, playing cards, working word puzzles and concerts.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one son Rick Keaton; one brother Ronnie Mallory and one sister Wenda Shanklin.  She is survived by two sons Jimmy Keaton and Jeff Keaton both of Elkton; one brother Donnie Mallory of Elkton and one sister Jackie Higgins of Elkton.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Keaton family will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Randy Davenport and Leroy Fletcher officiating.  Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sharon Grove.
