Joyce Maxine (Knight) McCarter

Mrs. Joyce Maxine McCarter, age 80 of Allensville, passed away on Friday morning April 17^th at her home of natural causes.

She was born February 10, 1935 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Reuben and Lou Vena Rager Knight. 

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one son John David McCarter and one daughter Connie McCarter.  She is survived by her husband Howard McCarter; two sons Ricky McCarter of Adairville and Howard Wendall McCarter of Allensville; two daughters Kathy Stalnaker of Allensville and Carolyn Scott of Adairville; one sister Carolyn Bradley of Clarksville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation with the McCarter family will be on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Monday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Mark Keith and Shane Hessey officiating.  Interment to follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Pennyroyal Hospice.
