Kathryn Ann (Daniel) Edwards

Mrs. Kathryn Ann Daniel Edwards, age 96 of Russellville, passed away on Monday evening, April 17, 2017 at her home of natural causes.

She was born August 2, 1920 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of Horace and Barbara Anderson Daniel.  She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Guthrie and the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ in Russellville.  She was remembered as the beloved red headed nurse at Dr. Woodall’s office in Trenton.  She was a faithful Christian lady and she loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Lory Edwards and two brothers William Gordon Daniel and Cecil Daniel.  She is survived by two daughters Shirley Grace (Joe) of Russellville and Loretta Starnes (Jim) of Owensboro; four grandchildren Joe David Grace, Jr., Kristie Grace King, Christopher Compton and Kathryn Compton O’Bryan and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Edwards family will be on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Jerry Edwards officiating, prayer by Bill Cohoon and eulogy by Alton Edwards.  Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to either Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Guthrie or Crittenden Drive Church of Christ in Russellville.
