Lola Jean Weatherford

Mrs. Lola Weatherford, age 70 of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2016 at her home of natural causes.

She was born February 6, 1946 in Christian County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert and Liza Jones Russell.  She was a member of the Potter House in Elkton.  She loved her family and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Walter Weatherford (1999) and two brothers Charlie Russell and Robert Russell Jr.  She is survived by one son Teddy Weatherford of Clarksville, Tennessee; five daughters Tina Utley, Barbara Weatherford and Bessie Wukich all of Sharon Grove, Gina Haddock of Hopkinsville and Danielle Weatherford of Elkton; two brothers James “Doc” Russell of Guthrie and George Russell of Lewisburg; one sister Rosie Henderson of Elkton; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation with the Weatherford family will be on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Hedge officiating.  Interment will follow at the Tabernacle Cemetery in Elkton.
