Lucille Wells

Mrs. Lucille Wells, age 79 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday evening, January 28, 2016 at 7:06 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

She was born August 8, 1936 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bobby and Irene Johns Case.  She was an active member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene.  She loved her family, UK Basketball, camping and friends.  She was retired from Flynn Enterprises.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as five brothers James, Boone, Arvil, Robert and Odell Case; two sisters Mary Ellen Fowler and Carolyn Case.  She is survived by her husband Henry Wells of Elkton; one son Dwayne Wells of Russellville; one daughter Teressa Shemwell (Larry) of the Claymour Community; three brothers H.G., Donald and Frankie Case all of Elkton; one sister Nancy Brown of the Stringtown Community.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Wells family will be on Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home & Cremation Service.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverends Kevin Murphy, Mitch Hedge and Shane Hessey officiating.  Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton.
