Margaret Elaine Blankenship

Mrs. Margaret Elaine Blankenship, age 83 of Elkton, passed away on Monday morning, March 13, 2017 at her home of natural causes.

She was born November 16, 1933 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bernard and Annie Wells Bryant.  She was a member of the Emmanuel Church of Christ.  She loved her family, taking care of the grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved being on the go.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Don Blankenship in 1962; one son Mike Blankenship; one grandson Jacob Blankenship; two brothers and three sisters.  She is survived by three daughters Patricia Cumbee (Ernie), Angie Dulin (Mike) and Shannon Wells (Phillip) all of Elkton.  Also surviving are ten grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Graveside service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the Bethel UMC Cemetery in Elkton with Rev. Gene Bagby officiating.
