Margaret Phillips

Mrs. Margaret Phillips, age 94 of Elkton, passed away on Friday, September 1^st at the Franklin Simpson Nursing & Rehab in Franklin, Kentucky of natural causes.

She was born December 10, 1922 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of James and Robbie Petrie Morris.  She was a member of the Phillips Chapel CME Church in Elkton.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Sam Phillips; three sons Robert Lewis Martin, Van Winfred Phillips and Ezra Eugene Phillips and one brother Melvin Morris.  She is survived by three grandchildren Van, Melissa and Natasha Phillips all of Bronx, New York; one great grandchild Valan Phillips and a host of cousins.

Visitation with the Phillips family will be on Friday from 11:00 until Memorial Service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. David Petrie officiating.  Interment will follow at the Todd County Meadow Haven.
