Phillip N. Smith

Phillip N. Smith, age 68 of Charlotte, Tennessee formerly of Nashville, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 6, 2017 at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville of natural causes.  

He was born February 21, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee the son of the late Buddy and Betty Faye Rawls Smith.  Phillip loved his family, his country and his home.  Phillip was a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Navy.  

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his daughter Shellie "Nickie" Darr Nivens and granddaughter Cari Nivens both of White House, Tennessee; two brothers Danny Smith of Greenbrier, Tennessee and Scott Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and one sister Marsha Smith of Nashville, Tennessee.  

Visitation with the Smith family will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 until Celebration of life service time at 2:00 at the Solid Rock Baptist Church, 2327 Old Greenbrier Pike, Greenbrier, TN. 37073 with Shane Hessey officiating.
