Mr. Robert Benton, age 67 of Trenton, passed away on Sunday afternoon August 10th at his home of natural causes.
Mr. Benton was born October 7, 1946 in Todd County the son of Robert E. and Eva Bryant Benton. He was a member of the Guthrie Church of Christ and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Effie Benton and his father Robert E. Benton. He is survived by his mother Eva Benton of Guthrie; two sons Richard Benton of Kirkmansville and Randy Benton of Guthrie; two brothers Aldon Benton of Guthrie and Rabourn Benton of Trenton also surviving are six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation with the Benton family will be on Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. Interment to follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.
