Robert "Bob" W. Ambuehl

Mr. Robert W. Ambuehl, age 74 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday evening August 1^st at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville of natural causes.

He was born May 19, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Albert and Floy B. Winn Ambuehl.  He was Catholic by faith and a retired fireman.  He loved his family, hunting, fishing and Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one son Dennis Christian.  He is survived by his wife Marie Ambuehl of Elkton; two daughters Janice Christmas of Elkton and Velda Young of Crofton; two brothers Albert Ambuehl Jr. and Richard Ambuehl both of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Ambuehl family will be on Wednesday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating.  Interment will follow at the Francies Cemetery in Allegre.
