Mrs. Rosie Dukes Laster, age 62 of Todd County, passed away on Tuesday evening July 22nd at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes. Mrs. Laster was born July 15, 1952 in Logan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Woodrow and Eathel Sigers Dukes. She was a member of the Cliff Hill Church in Todd County. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband James Laster in 2003; one daughter Amanda Laster in 2004 and three sisters Anita Martin, Brenda Estep and Imogene Elmore. She is survived by two sons Stephen Dukes (Diane) of Greenville and Jason Laster (Ginger) of Elkton; two daughters Kim Skipworth (Mark Sumner) and Ashley Stevens (Brian) all of Todd County; two brothers Waymon and Sherwood Dukes both of Elkon; three sisters Wanda Webster of Sharon Grove and Loretta Rager and Margie Evans both of Elkton. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation with the Laster family will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Friday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence White officiating. Interment will follow at the Cliff Hill Church Cemetery in Todd County.
