Sarah Elizabeth Lacy

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Lacy, age 88 of Allensville, passed away on Saturday evening, October 29, 2016 at her home of natural causes.

She was born November 9, 1927 in Montgomery County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Frederick Douglas and Willie Mimms Lyton.  She was a member of Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and was very active in some of the ministries in the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one son Joe Robert Morrow and one daughter Brenda Sue Mosby.  She is survived by three sons James Eli Mosby of Allensville, Quintin Dale Lyton of Alexandria, Virginia and Paul Lynn Lacy of Russellville; three daughters Alma Jean Muir of New Albany, Indiana, Glenda Carol Turner of Louisville, Kentucky and Flossie Annette Foster of Allensville; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren and twenty-seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Lacy family will be Saturday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Allensville, Kentucky.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Allensville with Rev. Mitchell Shanklin officiating.  Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Allensville, Kentucky.
