Shirley Jean Cannon

Mrs. Shirley Jean Cannon, age 71 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Todd County, passed away on Monday February 9^th at the Kindred Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee of natural causes.

She was born June 13, 1943 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of Amos and Katherine Stokes Rogers.  She was a Baptist by faith and loved music, family and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her father Amos Rogers and her husband Bill Cannon.  She is survived by one son Michael “Mike” Marshall of Hopkinsville; one daughter Kathy Teague of Hopkinsville; her mother Katherine Rogers of Elkton; one brother Alvin Hedrick of the Stringtown Community; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Cannon family will be on Friday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Marvin Ralph officiating.  Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton.
