Mr. William E. “Bill” Gardner, age 68 of Elkton, passed away on Friday evening, May 6, 2016 in Todd County after being involved in a lawnmower accident.
Bill was born June 9, 1947 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the son of the late Harry “Turk” and Mary Nell Majors Gardner. He was a member of the Allensville Church of Christ. He retired from Pennyrile Electric where he was a lineman. He loved fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Ann Gardner of Elkton; one son Michael Gardner of Nashville; one daughter Nancy Register of Clarksville; two brothers James Harry Gardner of Hornbeak, Tennessee and Danny Gardner of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters Judy Coleman and Joanne Goad both of Olmstead as well as two granddaughters Meridith and Haley Register both of Clarksville.
Visitation with the Gardner family will be on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Trey Judd officiating. Interment will follow at the Belmont Cemetery in Allensville.
