The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Ms. Barbara Cross.
Ms. Barbara Cross, age 84 of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, February 11th at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Calvert City, Kentucky.
Barbara was born June 10, 1939, in Dekalb, New York daughter of the late Douglas and Doris McHeffey Cross.
She was a member of the House of Prayer and a proud member of the Mayflower Society. She enjoyed genealogy and had spent many hours tracing her family back to the Mayflower. She also enjoyed knitting and raising her dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Wayne Cross; two sisters, Mabel Hamilton and Pearl Bowman and one grandson, Todd. She is survived by two sons, D.R. Littlebrant (Debbie) and Mike Littlebrant (Sandy) both of Gouverneur, New York; four daughters, Pam Owen (Marty) of Elkton, Donna Morey of Nashville, Tennessee, Terri Whittaker of Balmat, New York and Michelle Littlebrant (Brian Barrett) of Potsdam, New York; three brothers, Reginald Cross of Minden, Nebraska, Roderick Cross of Potsdam, New York and Gerald Cross of Canton, New York; two sisters, Linda Cross of Canton, New York and Jean Fowler of Harrisville, New York; sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also surviving are her close friends, Bonnie Cain and Lisa Brown.
Visitation with the Cross family will be held on Sunday, February 18th from 12:00 until memorial service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson Clay Bodes officiating.
