Christopher Ward Obituary

Mr. Christopher Carver Ward, age 56 of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, June 30th at his home of natural causes.

 

He was born January 14, 1962 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Morris Charles and Nora Chatman Ward.

 

He was Methodist by faith.  He loved his family, fishing, bowling and enjoyed mowing.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother Paul Ward and two sisters Willette Garrett and Annie Edmonds.  He is survived by his wife Alescia Ward of Russellville; one son Christopher Ward Jr. of Russellville; two daughters Yonia Edmonds Stovall (Londell) of Russellville and Lindley Hooper (Travis) of Nashville, Tennessee; three brothers Norris Clyde Ward of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Bruce Ward of Indianapolis, Indiana and Morris Charles Ward of Jeffersonville, Indiana; five sisters Sharon Bell and Charlene Ussery both of Guthrie, Edna Jean Graham and Anna Ward both of Louisville, Kentucky and Leslie Graham of Nashville, Tennessee.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

 

There will be no public visitation prior to the funeral.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Lisa Balboa doing eulogy and Rev. Floyd Coleman officiating.
