Mr. Danny Wayne Borders, age 42 of Elkton, passed away on Friday, May 25th after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born November 3, 1975 in Russellville, Kentucky the son of Danny and Mattie McGehee Borders.
He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served two tours in Iraq as an Army Ranger in Special Operations. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and working.
He is survived by his parents Danny and Mattie Borders of Elkton; his wife Meghann Borders of Elkton; four sons Danny Lynn, William Hunter, Lyle Fisher and Sonny Ray Borders all of Elkton; one sister Brandy Goode of Hopkinsville and two grandchildren Peyton and Peyslee.
Visitation with the Borders family will be on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 and again on Friday from 11:00 until funeral service time. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson Clay Bodes, Jim McBride and Phil Templeman officiating. Interment will follow at the Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove with military honors.
