Mrs. Evelyn Dill, age 91 of the Claymour Community, passed away on Friday, August 16th at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville of natural causes.
She was born August 18, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of the late Luther V. and Rhoda Sims Boyles.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and she loved her family, gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband W.E. Dill; three brothers Chalmers Savage, William and Herman Boyles and three sisters Darda Ray, Houston Nash and Elizabeth Addison. She is survived by one son Barry Dill (Amy) of Russellville; three daughters Pam Hampton of Madisonville, Ruth Morgan (Bob) of Bowling Green and Sonja Carlock (Bob) of Claymour; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Also surviving is her special and loving caretaker Pam Case.
Visitation with the Dill family will be on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday morning at 10:00 at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Robert Futrell officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.
