Greta DeShields

Greta DeShields, age 86 of the Port Royal Community, passed away on Thursday, January 9^th at her home of natural causes.

She was born January 26, 1933 in Montgomery County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William and Esther Harris Vaughn.

She was a member of Trenton Baptist Church and she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Aubra DeShields (1996); a daughter Kathy DeShields (1981) and a brother James Vaughn.  She is survived by a daughter Nancy Gleaves of the Port Royal Community; three brothers Othell Vaughn of Clarksville, Tennessee, Donald Vaughn and Bobby Vaughn both of Dickson, Tennessee; two sisters Juanita Shepherd of the Port Royal Community and Nita Massey of Rhode Island; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

There will be a Graveside Service on Monday, January 13^th at 2:00 at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie with Rev. Kimbrough Simmons officiating.
