Mr. Jess Moles, age 90 of Trenton, passed away on Monday, June 25th at his daughter’s home of natural causes.
Mr. Moles was born June 11, 1928 in Crossville, Tennessee son of the late Jesse James Moles Sr. and Georgie Hodge Moles.
Mr. Moles was Baptist by faith, a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in Vietnam and was the recipient of a Purple Heart. He loved his country, his family, farm work and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Dorothy Moles and one grandchild Makayla Carneyhan. He is survived by one son Danny Moles of Trenton, two daughters Dolores Carneyhan and Lucretia Rowberry both of Trenton. One brother Sammy Moles of Florida; seven grandchildren Ashliegh Dollar, Kaleb Carneyhan, Danny Carneyhan, Trey Bryant, Alexis, Corrin and Rachel Rowberry, nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Moles family will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home and again on Friday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Steve Rowberry officiating. Interment to follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.
