Jo-Ellen "Bookie" Lassiter Obituary

Mrs. Jo-Ellen “Bookie” Lassiter, age 63 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, November 10th at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

 

She was born July 25, 1955 in Japan the daughter of Joseph and Ovelia Kelly Redditt.

 

She retired from Save-A-Lot in Elkton. She loved her family, community and loved to read.

 

She was preceded in death by her father.  She is survived by her husband Tommy Lassiter of Elkton; her mother Ovelia Redditt of Elkton; three daughters Amy Lassiter of Russellville; April Wisby (Derek) of Clarksville and Amber Hurt (Logan) of Elkton; three brothers Edward Redditt (Connie) of Portsmouth, Virginia, Roy Redditt of Elkton and Scott Grannum (Judy) of Guthrie; two sisters Elisa Lammie of North Carolina and Kelly Johnson (Richard) of Fairview; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

 

Visitation with the Lassiter family will be on Wednesday from 4:00 until funeral service time at 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home with Calvin Naylor officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
