Glendal Blake, age 91 of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, November 20th at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, Kentucky of natural causes.
He was born April 22, 1930 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Herman and Grace Greenfield Blake.
He was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church and he loved his family, basketball, fishing, bowling, hunting and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Myers; a brother, Eugene Blake and a granddaughter, Ashley Barlow. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Blake of Lewisburg; a son, David Blake (Sheena) of Lewisburg; two stepsons, Wesley and Brian Barlow of McKenzie, Tennessee; a brother, Frank Blake of Lewisburg; a sister, Sue Adler of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter, Madelyn Cook.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 and again on Tuesday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Miller and Dennis Eason officiating. Interment will follow at the Clifty Christian Church Cemetery.
