Jean C. Downer

Jean C. Downer, age 92 of Guthrie, passed away on Friday, July 23^rd at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.

Services will be at 11:00 on Friday at the Guthrie Baptist Church with Rev. Kimbrough Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.

Visitation will be on Friday from 10:30 until service time at 11:00 at the Guthrie Baptist Church.

A native of Pembroke, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Lilburn G. and Rowena L. Crutchfield.

She was a member of the Guthrie Baptist Church, a retired secretary and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Downer (2016) and her sister, Ray Brown (2005). She is survived by a niece, Rowena Tunnell and a nephew, Stanley Brown both of Charlotte, North Carolina as well as two great nephews, Matthew Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina and Paul Tunnell of Atlanta, Georgia.
