Jim Bourne Obituary

Mr. Jim Bourne Sr., age 85 of Auburn, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday morning September 24th at his home of natural causes. 

Mr. Bourne was born April 27, 1935 in Logan County Kentucky the son of the late Buford Frank and Lera Helen Bagby Bourne. 

He was a member of the Springfield Motorcycle Church. He loved his family and motorcycle riding. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Theresa Bourne; one brother Rhea Bourne and one sister Judy Gasaway.  He is survived by two sons Jim Bourne Jr. (Kathy) of Hurst, Texas and Frank Norman (Bette) of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters Donna Hensiek (D.R.) and Linda Bourne both of Arlington, Texas; three brothers Glenn Bourne of Auburn, Kentucky, Gary Bourne of Idabel, Oklahoma and Bobby Bourne of O’Fallon, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren. 

Visitation with the Bourne family will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 4:00 p.m. until memorial service time at 7:00 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. 

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in his memory to the Black Sheep Diner, 115 Quarry Road, Auburn, Kentucky 42206.
