Martha Helen Mallory

Martha Helen Mallory, age 82 of the Claymour Community, passed away on Wednesday, June 30^th at her home of natural causes.

She was born November 4, 1938 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Herbert and Ermon Blake Shemwell.

She was a member of Sharon Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Mallory (2011) and two sisters, Margaret Maxwell and Marie Bryant. She is survived by a son, James P. Mallory of Claymour; three daughters, Wanda Mallory of Claymour, Linda Shumake of Sharon Grove and Patricia Ann Lee of Elkton; two brothers, Clark and Calvin Shemwell both of Elkton; three sisters, Ruthelle Mayes of Elkton, Sylvia Segers of Elkton and Joyce Brooks of Louisville; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Scarbrough officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in Elkton.
