The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Ms. Reba Joyce Sears.
Reba Joyce Sears, age 78 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, November 26th at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky of natural causes.
She was born August 18, 1944 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Victor and Belva Louise Sweeney Sears.
She was retired from the Todd County Board of Education, was Baptist by faith and loved her family, flowers, gardening, cooking and reading recipe books.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Garrow, Mellon Skipworth and Martha Pendley. She is survived by one daughter, Amanda Dunn (Barry) of Elkton; two grandchildren, Heather Brown (Derek) of Sharon Grove and Lindsey Dunn of Elkton; two great grandchildren, Avery and Rylee Brown; two brothers, Marvin Chandler and Jerry Sears both of Clifty and two sisters, Brenda West of Hopkinsville and Jane Butler of Clifty.
Visitation with the Sears family will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Easton Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the Joines Chapel Cemetery in Clifty.
