Maxine "Vanessa" Marlin

Mrs. Maxine “Vanessa” Marlin, age 77 of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 22, 2017 at the North Crest Medical Center in Springfield of natural causes.

She was born September 3, 1939 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Jesse and Louise Thomson Marlin.  She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ.  She loved sewing, flower arranging, cooking and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister Peggy Sue Wetton.  She is survived by two daughters Connie Crain of Springfield and Cristie Stein of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie with Garvin Claiborne officiating.
