Thomas Laster

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Laster, age 85 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday morning January 8th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Tommy was born April 21, 1930 in Clifty, Kentucky the son of the late Ivy and Treacie Laster Latham.  He was a member of Collier Springs Victory Church and loved Todd County Senior Citizens.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Laster in 2000 as well as one brother Otha Rager and one sister Frances Dukes.  He is survived by one half-brother Earl Latham of Greenville, Kentucky; two nephews Billy Dukes (Vicki) of Elkton and Wayne Dukes (Tammy) of Lewisburg and two nieces Tammy Keeling (David) of Elkton and Tina Mitchell (Bobby) of Kirkmansville.

Visitation with the Laster family will be on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. David Blake officiating.  Interment will follow at the New Cedar Grove Church cemetery in Elkton.
