Mr. Thomas Outlawe, age 74 of Guthrie, passed away on Thursday evening, November 17, 2016 at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was born September 17, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee the son of the late El and Frances Harrison Outlawe. He was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church in Clarksville and a member of the Guthrie Bethel Vesper Lodge #669 F&AM, Shriners and Royal Order of Jesters. He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he had a Master’s Degree in Business Education and Accounting. Tom was a CPA and held various accounting certifications. He began his career at Ernst & Young, followed by various corporations and continued his career as a consultant and CPA with his own firm. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Outlawe of Guthrie, his beloved dogs Buckshot and Foxx, nieces and nephews and very special friends.
Visitation with the Outlawe family will be on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 5:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Monday morning at 11:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Bunger and Bro. Ron Becton officiating. Committal service will follow at 1:00 at Forest Hills Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
